Stuart Cameron

Stuart is an Accredited Family Law Specialist who has practised exclusively in family law since 2002. Prior to co-founding the firm, he held senior roles with leading family law practices in Canberra.

He advises across all areas of family law, including parenting arrangements, property settlements, child support and family violence matters. Stuart has particular experience in complex matters involving children, financial disputes and child support issues.

Stuart is known for his level headed and strategic approach, guiding clients through practical options with a focus on achieving negotiated and cost effective outcomes. When litigation is required, he is a skilled advocate who represents clients with diligence and care.

PARTNER

Chloe practises in Family Law, Conveyancing (ACT & NSW) and Estate Planning. Prior to co-founding HCC Lawyers, she worked with several respected law firms across Canberra and regional NSW. She is based in our Murrumbateman office and lives locally on a rural property.

Chloe advises on family law matters including parenting arrangements, divorce, property settlements, financial agreements, family violence and adoption. She also assists clients with conveyancing, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate and estate administration.

Known for her practical and client-focused approach, Chloe explains legal matters clearly and helps clients navigate important decisions with confidence.

Mussa Hijazi

Mussa has practised exclusively in Property and Commercial Law since 2001. Prior to co-founding the firm, he was a Partner at a well regarded Canberra law firm.

He advises on a broad range of commercial and residential property matters across the ACT and NSW, including real estate transactions, rural properties, strata developments, commercial leasing and business sales and acquisitions.

Mussa is known for providing clear, practical advice and guiding clients through complex transactions with confidence and efficiency. He has served for many years on the ACT Law Society Property Law Committee and regularly volunteers at the ACT Law Society Legal Advice Bureau.

Holly joined the partnership team in 2026 after many years working within the firm. She has practised primarily in Family Law since 2010, advising clients across Canberra and Wollongong.

Holly has experience across a broad range of matters, including divorce, parenting disputes, property settlements, Binding Financial Agreements, Consent Orders, family violence matters and complex financial proceedings.

She is known for her practical and resolution focused approach, providing clear guidance and realistic advice to support informed decision making. Holly is also a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is authorised to issue Section 60I Certificates, assisting parties to resolve disputes through mediation.

    Rene Kremisis

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Rene is a Senior Associate advising in Property Law, Business and Commercial Law, and Wills and Estates. Admitted in 2019, she brings over 12 years of experience within the legal industry.

    She assists clients with commercial and residential property transactions across the ACT and NSW, as well as business sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing and estate planning matters. Rene also advises on deceased estates and related disputes, including family provision claims.

    Rene is known for delivering clear, practical advice and supporting clients through complex legal matters with confidence, clarity and care.

    Leah McGowan

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Leah is an Associate practising exclusively in Family Law. Admitted in 2016, she has experience advising clients across parenting matters, property settlements and divorce proceedings.

    Having begun her legal career in regional New South Wales before returning to Canberra, Leah brings a practical and client centred approach to family law matters. She understands the personal and often complex nature of separation and family change.

    Leah is committed to providing clear, empathetic and solution focused advice, helping clients navigate legal matters with confidence and support.

    Hayley Kelloway

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Hayley has over 20 years’ experience practising primarily in family law, mediation and wills. She advises clients across parenting matters, property settlements and family dispute resolution, and is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner authorised to issue Section 60I Certificates.

    Hayley also has extensive experience conducting mediations for both legally represented and self represented parties and is trained as a Family Law Collaborative Professional. In addition to her legal practice, she has lectured within the University of Wollongong Law Faculty for over 10 years.

    Hayley is known for her calm and practical approach, helping clients navigate family law matters with clarity, empathy and resolution focused guidance.

    Robyn Riley

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Robyn is the Office Manager at HCC Lawyers and plays an important role in supporting the day to day operations of the firm. With a strong focus on organisation, client service and team support, she helps ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently across all locations.

    Robyn is often the first point of contact for clients and is committed to creating a welcoming and professional experience. She works closely with the legal team to assist with administration, scheduling and practice coordination, supporting both clients and staff throughout each stage of the process.
